Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Gem Shift: Slide Puzzle ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. We are committed to keeping the App simple and privacy-respecting. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
The App itself does not require you to create an account and does not ask you for personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
- Game data stored on your device. Your level progress, best times, move counts, star ratings, and settings (language, theme, sound, and haptics preferences) are saved locally on your device only. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. You can erase it at any time from the App's Settings → Clear Progress screen, or by uninstalling the App.
- Network status. The App checks whether your device currently has an internet connection in order to load ads. This check reads connectivity status only and does not collect your browsing activity.
2. Advertising
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google. To serve ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process certain information, which can include:
- A device advertising identifier (for example, the Android Advertising ID);
- General device information such as device type, operating system, and language;
- Approximate, non-precise location derived from your IP address;
- Ad interaction data used to measure performance and limit repeated ads.

You can reset or limit ad personalization on your device at any time via Android Settings → Google → Ads, where you may reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization.
3. How Information Is Used
- To save and restore your game progress and preferences on your device;
- To display advertisements that help keep the App free;
- To determine whether a network connection is available for loading ads.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not collect personal information on our own servers. The only third party that may receive data through the App is Google (AdMob), as described in Section 2, for the purpose of serving ads.
5. Data Retention
Game progress and settings remain on your device until you clear them within the App or uninstall the App. Data processed by Google for advertising is retained according to Google's own policies.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
7. Your Choices & Rights
- Clear your locally stored game data via Settings → Clear Progress or by uninstalling the App;
- Reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings;
- Depending on your region (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights regarding data processed by Google — please refer to Google's Privacy Policy to exercise them.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
