Voltura
Privacy Policy

Your data stays on your device.

Last updated 28 July 2026

Voltura does not collect, store or sell any personal data. There is no account, no sign-up and no tracking. Everything the app needs to function is stored locally on your device.

Voltura is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by, or representing any government, ministry, regulator or public authority. All EV charging data is republished from the official open sources listed below.

What we collect

Nothing. Voltura does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers or location data on our servers.

What is stored on your device

Voltura stores the following data locally on your device only, using standard on-device storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Your selected country
Your selected language
Notification preferences (on/off, reminder time)
A temporary cache of charger data to allow the app to work offline

We do not request your location

Voltura does not request, access or transmit your device location. Charger searches are performed by city name — you type the city, we fetch results for that city. No GPS or location permission is requested.

Third-party data sources

When you search for chargers, the app makes network requests to official open data sources. These requests contain only search parameters (e.g. a bounding box or city name). No personal data is sent. Each source operates under its own terms and privacy policy.

Ads and AdMob

Voltura displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) in accordance with Google's own privacy policy and applicable consent frameworks. On supported platforms, a consent prompt is shown before any personalised advertising is served. You can opt out of personalised ads at any time in your device settings.

Children's privacy

Voltura is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published with a new "Last updated" date. As we collect no personal data, changes are expected to be minimal.
